Terms and Conditions for E-Commerce Purchases

Welcome to Industrial Automation Products! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website [https://industrialautomationproducts.com] (the “Site”) and your purchase of products. By accessing our Site or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.
General Terms
- F.O.B. Origin: All prices are F.O.B. (Freight on Board) origin unless otherwise specified. This means that ownership and risk of loss transfer to you once the product leaves our facility. Quoted prices do not include taxes, which may be added at checkout.
Order Acceptance and Cancellation
- Acceptance: Industrial Automation Products reserves the right to accept or reject any order. Once an order is confirmed, it may only be canceled with our approval. Cancellation fees may apply to cover expenses or commitments already incurred.
Payment Terms
- Pricing and Payment: Payments are due upon ordering unless otherwise specified. All prices are subject to change without notice.
- Late Fees: If payment is not received within 15 days, a late fee of 1.5% per month may apply to unpaid balances.
- Tax Status: Customers must provide a tax exemption certificate if applicable; otherwise, all orders are subject to sales tax based on your shipping address.
Shipping, Risk of Loss, and Claims
- Shipping Times: Estimated shipping times are provided at checkout. Delivery times are approximate and may vary based on location, shipping carrier, and other factors. Industrial Automation Products is not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control, including carrier delays, weather disruptions, supplier issues, or other unexpected events.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, the shipping method chosen, and the size/weight of the items. All shipping costs are non-refundable.
- International Shipping: Industrial Automation Products ships within the United States For international shipments, customers are responsible for any additional customs, taxes, or import duties.
Returns and Refunds
- Return Policy: Returns are only accepted with written authorization and should be returned within 30 days.Returns after 30 days are not accepted.
- Authorization: All returns require prior authorization via a Return Goods Authorization (RGA).
- Refunds: Refunds for approved returns will be processed back to the original payment method once parts are inspected and approved for credit.
- Return Shipping Cost: Return shipping is to be paid for by the purchaser unless fault lies with IAP.
Damaged Goods Policy
- Damage Claims: Industrial Automation Products is not responsible for damages occurring during shipment. Claims for any damage or loss sustained in transit must be filed directly with the carrier upon receiving the item(s). We recommend inspecting all items upon arrival and noting any visible damage with the carrier immediately.
- Procedure for Damaged Items:
- If you receive items with concealed damage (damage not visible at delivery), notify the carrier as soon as possible to initiate a claim. We can assist by providing the necessary documentation to support your claim.
- For defective merchandise, please contact Industrial Automation Products directly within 7 days of receipt to initiate a return or replacement process. Items found to be defective upon inspection may qualify for return or exchange according to our Return Policy.
Warranty Information
- Manufacturer’s Warranty Only: Industrial Automation Products does not extend any additional warranties beyond those provided by the product’s manufacturer. All products are sold “as is” with no additional warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or any other implied warranties, except where explicitly provided by the manufacturer.
- Warranty Period: The warranty period and specific terms vary by manufacturer and product type. Please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty documentation included with your product for full details on coverage, limitations, and conditions.
- Warranty Claims: Any claims related to product defects covered under the manufacturer’s warranty should be made directly with the manufacturer. Industrial Automation Products will provide support by assisting in the facilitation of warranty claims where possible.
- Limitations: The warranty provided by the manufacturer does not cover damages caused by improper use, installation, handling, or unauthorized repairs. Industrial Automation Products is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of a product, including but not limited to lost profits or operational interruptions.
Limited Liability and Disclaimer
- No Liability for Special Damages: Industrial Automation Products is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, revenue, or data. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item(s).
Title and Ownership
- Title to purchased items remains with Industrial Automation Products until payment is complete. We reserve the right to retrieve goods upon non-payment as permitted by law.
Intellectual Property
- All content on our Site, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Industrial Automation Products or its content suppliers. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Governing Law and Venue
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Whitfield County.
Amendments to Terms
- Industrial Automation Products reserves the right to update these Terms. Continued use of the Site following changes indicates acceptance of the new Terms.
